Tottenham Hotspur - Chelsea Betting Preview: Expect goals in this London derby

The apprentice and his master come face to face on Saturday lunch time as Spurs host the Blues and our tipster is backing goals in this clash
Tottenham Hotspur welcome Chelsea to White Hart Lane after both sides cruised into the next round of the Capital One Cup with away wins in the week.

Spurs demolished a much changed Aston Villa side in a 4-0 win, with Chelsea facing a potentially tricky tie away at Swindon, which they won 2-0 thanks to two first half goals. Which ever side can claim three points in this Saturday lunchtime fixture, will find themselves on top of the league for at least a few hours.

Spurs come into this match in fantastic form. Andre Villas-Boas' side have won their last four matches on the spin with Arsenal the only team to have beaten them this season and Spurs winning their four previous games before their visit to the Emirates.

They currently sit in second position in the league, with 12 points from their first five games.

Paulinho was the hero last weekend, netting in the 93rd minute to win the match away at Cardiff. Paddy Power price Spurs at 13/8 (2.63) to continue their fine form.

After three losses on the bounce, including losing to Bayern Munich on penalties in the Super Cup, Jose Mourinho's side got back to winning ways last weekend against Fulham at home.

A rare goal from John Obi Mikel gave the Blues an invaluable three points in a 2-0 win. Chelsea have a good record against Tottenham, having not been beaten by them in the last seven meetings, winning two of the last three matches.

Paddy Power price them at 17/10 (2.70) to claim the bragging rights once again. The same firm price the draw at 9/4 (3.25). If the match ends all square then Paddy Power will refund losing bets on selected markets including first goalscorer and correct score.

With both sides defences keeping it tight in recent weeks, it's no surprise to see the over 2.5 goals bet at 11/10 (2.10) with Paddy Power.

However, this is certainly worth backing when you consider the past meetings between these sides. The last three head-to-head meetings would have easily paid out in this fixture, and when you consider that both managers will certainly not hold back, the attacking talent on display should come out on top in this Saturday lunch time fixture.

Paddy Power will also refund losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast bets on this match if it ends in a draw.
