Pete Nordsted: Looking for another succesful double in the Both Teams to Score market

Pete landed yet another double last week meaning that it is now seven winners from eight selections and he has two more picks in mind for the latest Premier League action
Well, last weekend we again had a winning double and this now makes us seven winning bets from the opening eight selections, which is a great start to the season. Let's hope our good run continues as we look to the Premier League this weekend for our two selections.

Here we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.

This weekend we begin with table-topping Liverpool, who are taking on a Southampton side who have made an average start to the season.

Brendon Rodgers's men have a very average record when playing teams of the Saints' stature that reads won three, drawn four and lost three and they certainly do not represent great value at their current price of 1/2 (1.50) to win the game with Paddy Power.

However, it should also be pointed out that, when Southampton have faced teams of Liverpool's grading away from home, their record reads a poor won none, drawn none and lost three.

Of more interest is certainly the "NO" selection on both teams to score as both teams have found the net in only three of Liverpool's last 15 home games and in only three of the Reds' last 10 at home to teams of Southampton's stature.

In the case of Mauricio Pochettino's side, the stats are not as strong but both teams have not scored in six of their last seven away games and also we have seen that three of both teams' opening four matches have seen either one or no team finding the back of the net.

The stats above are strong and this makes the 10/11 (1.91) offered by William Hill on the "NO" on both teams to score look very good value.

Next we move to the North East, where we find an in-form Newcastle taking on Steve Bruce's Hull City Tigers.

Alan Pardew's side have a fairly strong home record when facing the bottom-ranked sides which reads won six, drawn three and lost one and, in these 10 matches, both teams have scored in only four.

In the case of Hull, we have to dig into the stats from the last time that they were in the Premier League but, when away to teams of Newcastle's stature then, both teams found the back of the net in only three of 10 away matches.

As with the first game, we have seen that three of both each side's opening four matches have seen either one or no team finding the back of the net.

The "NO" option on both teams to score can be backed at 5/6 (1.83) with Paddy Power and this again looks to offer some decent value.

Liverpool v Southampton
Newcastle v Hull
Both teams to score "No" at 10/11 (1.91) with William Hill
Both teams to score "No" at  5/6 (1.83) with Paddy Power
