thumbnail Hello,

Pete started the season with a bang as both his tips were winners last week and he's got two more picks in mind for the next round of matches across the Premier League and La Liga

Well, we started the season well with a nice double and let's hope that we can continue this positive trend with a couple of games from the Premier League and La Liga.

Here we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.

We begin in the Premier League, where Andre Villas-Boas leads his Tottenham side in their first home game of the season at White Hart Lane against Michael Laudrup's Swansea City and this could be a tighter match than the current odds imply.

Spurs have a strong home record when facing teams of Swansea's stature ,in their last 12 home matches, their record reads won eight, drawn three and lost one. In nine of these matches, both sides failed to find the back of the net.

When we look at the record of the team from South Wales we can see that, when playing sides of Spurs' calibre, they have a fairly poor record that reads won one, drawn two and lost four - and, in these seven games, only once did both teams find the net.

The "NO" outcome on both teams to score can be backed at 21/20 (2.05) with BetVictor and this looks to offer some good value. If you are feeling a little braver then Spurs can be backed to win to nil at 7/4 (2.75) with Bet365.

Another viable option here could be to back under 2.5 goals and this has been seen in 15 of the above 19 highlighted matches when both sides have played similar opposition. Under 2.5 goals can be backed at 11/10 (2.10) with Paddy Power

Next we move to La Liga where promoted Villarreal take on Valladolid. When both sides have met similar opposition in their last 10 respective home and away matches, both teams have scored in only eight of the 20 matches and, in the case of the visitors, both teams have not found the net in five of their last seven.

Here the "NO" outcome on both teams to score can be backed at a standout price of 11/10 (2.10) with Paddy Power and this certainly looks to offer value given the above.
