Jablonec - Real Betis Betting Preview: Why the visitors should score at least twice

Phil Kitromilides saw enough from the visitors at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night to suggest that they can net over 1.5 goals against the Czech outfit on Thursday
Having put in a brilliant performance only to concede late on to come away from their league opener at Real Madrid with a 2-1 defeat on Sunday, Real Betis travel to the Czech Republic hoping to secure their place in the group stages of the Europa League.

Standing in their way are Jablonec, who finished fourth in the Czech league last season. The hosts however are clear outsiders priced at 11/4 (3.75) by Coral for the win, with Betis odds-on at 4/5 (1.80).

Given Betis's showing at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night, that price of 4/5 (1.80) for an Andalusian win looks tempting. Los Verdiblancos dominated a large part of the first half against Madrid, with Joan Verdu orchestrating the midfield and Cedric terrorising the flanks.

They scored once, missed another glorious chance as well as hitting the bar.

Afterwards, manager Pepe Mel said that their failure to score a second was the crucial factor in the defeat but the fact that they created the chances will have been of some comfort.

Against far inferior opposition, as Jablonec clearly are, Betis should find the back of the net and, while the price on them to score over 0.5 goals is an unbackable 1/5 (1.20), the price of 11/10 (2.10) on them to net over 1.5 goals appeals.

Last season this bet paid out in 14 league matches involving Betis, including against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. This Betis side have goals in them and a small investment in them scoring two or more is an attractive option.
