Real Madrid - Real Betis Betting Preview: Why there should be at least four goals at the Bernabeu

Our man in Madrid believes Carlo Ancelotti's men will open their season with a high scoring result against the visitors from Seville
The first official match of Carlo Ancelotti's long awaited tenure at Real Madrid sees Real Betis make the trip to the Spanish capital for what should be an entertaining contest on Sunday evening.

Betis at home is perhaps an ideal fixture for Ancelotti's first game in charge as the side from Seville who finished 7th last season are capable of giving Los Blancos a decent contest but should ultimately prove to be beatable.

Betway price Madrid as the massive favorites at 7/50 (1.14) and given their unbeaten league run at home stretches back to December 2011 you can understand why. Betis meanwhile are offered at 16/1 (17.00) with the draw available at 13/2 (7.50).
Throughout the season punters will be faced with the inevitable challenge of trying to find value in backing either Real Madrid or Barcelona at home.

One of our favorite and most profitable methods has been backing over 1.5 goals in the first half and for the season opener this is offered at 7/10 (1.70).

In other matches this will be our selection, but for this game backing over 3.5 goals in the match at 4/5 (1.80) looks to be a better option at an attractive price.
This bet paid out in 13 of Madrid's league matches at the Bernabeu last season, and with Carlo Ancelotti's side in superb form pre-season, there is an excellent chance of seeing this selection proving to be correct once more.
