Our La Liga expert Phil KItromilides believes the Spanish striker will have no problem in continuing his prolific form of recent seasons after his move to Spurs
Roberto Soldado has made the switch to the Premier League at the age of 28, leaving his home town club of Valencia in pursuit of the kind of season which would cement his place in Spain's World Cup squad next year.

Combative and aggressive, his harassment of defenses has made him one of the continent's most predatory strikers, while his fiery temperament has earned him 30 yellow cards in all competitions over the past two seasons.
During that time however he has also notched 52 goals and if he can come close to continuing that form, he will surely come close to achieving his objectives for the campaign.
Bet365 offer odds of 5/6 (1.83) on him scoring over 14.5 goals and the same price on him scoring under 14.5, with odds of 20/1 (21.00) also available on him being the league's top scorer.
Yet history suggests Soldado will score at least 15 league goals this season, something he has comfortably managed in each of the last four campaigns.
The adaptation to a new league may be tough for some players, but with his mental and physical toughness coupled with his instinctive eye for goal, Soldado looks likely to hit the ground running at White Hart Lane.
