There's Allsvenskan action this evening and with Andreas Alm’s men gunning for top spot, our tipster Hugh Wilson thinks the away side are a well worth backing
Andreas Alm’s side trail leaders Malmo by three points, albeit with a worse goal difference. A heavy victory would see them top the league. Hacken on the other hand sit closer to the bottom three, but with seven points in hand over Oster in 14th, Peter Gerhardsson’s men should be safe this season.
Hacken come into this match without a victory in their last three games. Gerhardsson’s side did however, come from two goals down away to Sparta Praha to draw in the Champions League qualification first leg to keep themselves well in the tie.
The Wasps have struggled at home of late, recording only one win in their last five, losing three of those matches. William Hill price them as favourites at 7/5 (2.40) to take three points.
In contract to Hacken, AIK have been in fantastic form in recent weeks. Alm’s men are unbeaten in their last eight matches, winning six of them, which has seen their rise in the league. With just under half the season to play, these are the matches AIK need to win to keep up with Helsingborg and Malmo. William Hill price them at 2/1 (3.00) to win the match. The same firm prices the draw at 11/5 (3.20).
When you take into consideration AIK’s recent form, especially away from home where they have won their last four in a row, the price of 2/1 (3.00) is a fantastic bet. Hacken have struggled at home of late and with AIK disposing of Hacken 2-0 at the start of the month, this outright result cannot be ignored.
