The relegated Molineux outfit have begun their search for their fifth manager in 15 months after dispensing with Dean Saunders and Willie Duncan backs the ex-Millwall bossFollowing Wolves' relegation from the Championship, manager Dean Saunders was sacked from the West Midlands club on Tuesday morning and speculation is already rife as to who will replace the former Doncaster Rovers boss in the manager’s chair at Molineux.
Kenny Jackett has been installed as BetVictor’s even money (2.0) favourite to become Wolves’ fifth permanent manager in just 15 months.
The 51-year-old manager’s departure from the Den was revealed soon after the axe fell on Saunders and the timing of that announcement has caught the attention of odds compilers and punters alike, with the former Swansea City manager being well backed on Tuesday.

Another experienced candidate is Micky Adams. Adams led Port Vale to automatic promotion to League One this term but the former Sheffield United boss may be tempted to jump ship given that Wolves will surely offer a bigger budget than the Vale Park club for the season ahead.
Adams is chalked up at 10/1 (11.0) with BetVictor to take up the reins at Molineux while Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis, who steered the Railwaymen to glory in the Football League Trophy this season, is also rated as a 10/1 (11.0) chance with BetVictor.
Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill may be keen to get back into management, having most recently served as part of Harry Redknapp’s coaching staff at QPR, and the 48-year-old boss is also available at 10/1 (11.0) with BetVictor to succeed Saunders at Molineux.
Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson who, like Saunders, saw his side suffer relegation from the Championship, is rated as a 12/1 (13.0) chance with BetVictor to swap London Road for Molineux but, given Posh were also relegated, it seems unlikely that the Scot will be offered the vacancy at Wolves.
Gary Megson is rated as a 16/1 (17.0) chance with BetVictor to take the post but, given Megson’s association with Wolves’ rivals, West Brom, such an appointment is sure to prove unpopular with the Molineux faithful and the Wolves board will, surely, steer clear of appointing the former West Brom boss.
Kenny Jackett appears to be the candidate most likely to fit the profile for Wolves and the man who stepped down as Millwall boss on Tuesday morning should be snapped up at even money (2.0) with BetVictor to be appointed as the next permanent manager at Molineux.
