thumbnail Hello,

The two remaining Spanish teams remain at the head of the market while Paris Saint-Germain have been priced up as outsiders at 33/1 for European glory following their pairing

Barcelona were handed a favourable Champions League quarter-final tie, in the minds of the bookmakers, against Paris Saint-Germain and are still 6/4 (2.50) favourites with BetVictor to defend their crown, a slight drop from 7/4 (2.75).

David Beckham, who faced the Catalan giants several times during his years at Real Madrid could line up for Carlo Ancelotti's side against the favourites.

The La Liga leaders overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit against AC Milan in the last round and after back-to-back domestic losses against Real Madrid look somewhere back to thier best.

Real Madrid got the better of Manchester United at Old Trafford in the last 16 in controversial circumstances and with little chance of catching Barcelona in the Spanish title race, Jose Mourinho's men now seem likely to focus thier attentions on their European and Copa del Rey chances.

Champions League Winner
Team Pre-Draw Post-Draw
Barcelona 7/4 6/4
Real Madrid 10/3 5/2
Bayern Munich 11/4 4/1
Borussia Dortmund 10/1 8/1
Juventus 10/1 12/1
Paris Saint-Germain 20/1 33/1
Malaga 33/1 66/1
Galatasaray 50/1 80/1
Los Blancos were drawn against Galatasaray, a tie which means Wesley Sneijder will face his former club and are now made a 5/2 (3.50) chance to win the trophy, having previous been 10/3 (4.33) with BetVictor.

Those dreaming of a Real Madrid v Barcelona final will be pleased to see them kept apart at this stage of the competition, meaning it is now only possible for the two to meet in the showpiece or the semi-final if they are both able to progress.

Bayern Munich remain third favourites but face a potentially tricky tie against Italian champions Juventus who saw off Celtic 5-0 on aggregate over two legs.

The German side are now 4/1 (5.0) to win the tournament, being pushed out from 11/4 (3.75) with Juventus now rated as 12/1 shots.

Two of the lesser-fancied teams ahead of the draw have drawn each other as Malaga will face Borussia Dortmund, the reigning Bundesliga champions who saw off Shakhtar Donetsk in the last round.

The Spanish side started as 33/1 (34.0) and have been pushed out to 66/1 with the bookmakers clearly of the opinion that the German side will progress. Dortmund have been trimmed to 8/1 by BetVictor.

The first leg of each of tie will be played on April 2/3. The second legs are to be played a week later on April 9/10.

The final will be contested at Wembley, home of Bayern Munich on May 25, 2013.
