As always here we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.
This weekend our two selections come from the Premier League. Our first match sees under pressure Rafa Benitez’s Chelsea side looking to cement a top-four place with what the bookmakers believe should be a straight forward task at home to West Bromwich Albion. However, the visiting side have now won their last two games.
When playing teams of West Brom’s grading since the start of the 2009-10 season both teams haven’t scored in 15 of the last 22 games played at Stamford Bridge.
West Brom have a very poor away record when facing the Premier League elite and Steve Clarke’s team have lost eight of their last 10 against Grade A sides and both teams have found the net in only three of these matches. If we look into this a little further. In their eight defeats, the Baggies only scored in one of these matches.
The “No” selection on the both teams to score market can be backed at 5/6 (1.83) with Bet365 and looks a reasonable bet. Alternately, given the above stats, Chelsea can be backed to win to nil at 13/10 (2.30) again with Bet365 and again this looks a good option.
For our next match we go to the Stadium of Light for a match featuring two sides who should finish around mid-table.
Martin O’Neill’s Sunderland side are in poor form at the moment having lost their last three league matches and here they face a Fulham side that have also had a very average season.
When playing teams of a similar grading to Fulham’s, the “No” selection on both teams to score has paid out in 11 of the last 16 played at the Stadium of Light. When looking at Fulham the stats are identical and both teams have not scored in 11 of the Cottagers’ last 16 away gamers to teams of Sunderland’s grading.
