thumbnail Hello,

With both sides finding goals easy to come by in recent matches, Phil Kitromilides believes neither team will keep a clean sheet tonight

Lazio welcome Udinese to the Italian capital this evening for what could be an entertaining encounter.

The side from Rome have been in decent form of late at the Stadio Olimpico - winning three of their last four Serie A matches there, leaving them just four points off fourth place.

They are understandably favourites for tonight´s game against an Udinese side without a win in six games in all competitions. Paddy Power offer odds of 5/6 (1.83) for a home victory, while the side from Udine can be backed at 10/3 (4.33) with the draw offered at 5/2 (3.50).

While Udinese are struggling to replicate the form of last season, which saw them finish third in Serie A, they have had little problem in finding the back of the net.

Indeed they have scored in each of their last seven matches in the Italian top flight and have only failed to net in one of their last nine away matches in Serie A.

Clean sheets however have been a little harder to come by for Udinese, with the team failing to prevent their opponents scoring in any of their last eight matches in all competitions.

That statistic will be of particular interest to a Lazio side that have only failed to score once in their last 16 home matches in Serie A.

Bearing all of this in mind then backing both teams to score looks like an extremely solid selection, even more so when you consider that it has paid out in eight of the last nine meetings between the two sides.

It is available at the price of 4/6 (1.67) which looks big enough to invest in on its own or as part of an accumulator.

For a value bet try backing Lazio to score exactly three goals at 9/2 (5.50), which has paid out in two of the last three games between the sides at the Stadio Olimpico.
