Joachim Low's side got their World Cup campaign off to a winning start and Willie Duncan is backing Die Mannschaft to make it two out of two against Marcel Koller's men
Marcel Koller’s side didn't start their campaign on Friday night and will be fired up for the visit of their neighbours but are rank outsiders at 13/2 (7.50) with William Hill to upset the Germans in Vienna.
Despite recording a 3-0 win in their previous game, Germany coach Low was not satisfied with his team’s performance and he will demand an improvement from his side here.
Should the Germans step it up, they should prove too strong for Tuesday’s hosts and can be backed at 4/11 (1.36) with William Hill while the same firm offer 15/4 (4.75) on the match ending all square.
The visitors were 2-1 victors on their last visit to Austria in qualifying for Euro 2012 while Low’s side thumped Austria 6-2 at home and another comfortable victory for the visitors looks a likely outcome here.
Austria, though, will take some small comfort from the fact that prior to Friday’s win over Faroe Islands, the Germans failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their five previous matches and, with that in mind, the 8/11 (1.73) from William Hill for both teams to score looks to be decent value.
Low’s side, though, have an abundance of attacking talent and Die Mannschaft pose a potent goal threat with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Marco Reus and Miloslav Klose all likely to be in contention for a starting berth. Therefore, the 10/11 (1.91) quote from William Hill for Germany (-1) in the handicap market is outstanding value.
Those looking for bigger prices should back a 3-1 win for the Germans at a chunky 10/1 (11.0) quote with William Hill while a 4-1 win for the visitors is available at 14/1 (15.0) here with the same firm.
