Helsingborg - Gefle: Expect the champions to strike early as they seek to make up lost ground

The hosts have struggled to hit the heights so far this season, but Al Hain-Cole expects them to waste no time against their lowly opponents in a potentially high-scoring game
Swedish champions Helsingborg have not enjoyed the best of starts to this year's Allsvenskan campaign, and currently sit 12 points adrift of leaders Elfsborg in seventh place.

With almost half of the season behind them, Age Hareide's side will be desperate to start making up ground on the leaders, beginning with today's match against Gefle.

Despite their disappointing start, Di Roe have actually performed resolutely at home this season, and are unbeaten at the Olympia Stadium in the league.

They should have no trouble overcoming an opponent who have only tasted victory once on the road this year, and this is reflected in the modest 9/20 (1.45) odds on offer with PanBet for a home win.

Their visitors also need to get some points on board in order to escape the relegation zone, but might struggle to pick up all three tonight at odds of 32/5 (7.40).

A clash between these two sides has not resulted in a draw in over four years, but you can get odds of 18/5 (4.60).

Helsingborg will no doubt be eager to continue their good run against strugglers Gefle, making odds of 26/25 (2.04) on the home team bagging the opening goal within the first 29 minutes look extremely tempting.

However, the champions may struggle to maintain that lead, as a leaky defence has seen them fail to keep a clean sheet in five of their last six games in all competitions.

With that in mind, it makes sense to back both teams to score in this one at 11/10 (2.10) as the value bet.
