Manchester clubs 10/1 to meet in the Europa League final

They look destined to battle it out for the Premier League title but Manchester City and Manchester United also lead the chase for Europe's secondary club competition
Manchester City's 6-1 aggregate destruction of holders Porto in the previous round of the Europa League showed that while it may not be the European competition that they had envisaged themselves competing in at the start of the season, they are determined to take it seriously.

Manchester United meantime were slightly less convincing in their win over Ajax, but nevertheless ensured progress to the next round, keeping alive the possibility of an all Manchester final in the competition.

The two rivals meeting in the final is just one of the many Manchester Europa League specials that Sportingbet are offering, and they price a derby in the final at 10/1 (11.00). Also available is the price of 11/10 (2.10) on either City or United winning the trophy and given the fact that they are the strongest two sides left in the tournament, it could hold some appeal.

Having dispatched Porto in the previous round, City face another trip to Portugal in the last 16 to face Sporting Lisbon, and Sportingbet offer 5/2 (3.50) on the Blues being eliminated by the Portuguese side.

The price is from the market on City's stage of elimination, with Roberto Mancini's side priced at 3/1 (4.00) to go out in the quarter finals, 4/1 (5.00) to be knocked out in the last four and 5/1 (6.00) on them finishing as runners up.

United are just behind City in the betting for overall winner, with the Blues on offer at 5/2 (3.50) to lift the trophy and the Reds priced at 100/30 (4.33). SportingBet also offer a market on United's stage of elimination with, amongst other prices, Sir Alex Ferguson's side offered at 9/2 (5.50) to finish as beaten finalists.
