Chelsea and Tottenham both face fifth round replays but Harry Redknapp's side are still joint favourites with Liverpool for FA Cup glory
Harry Redknapp’s side can be backed at odds of 5/2 (3.50) with William Hill to go on to lift the trophy in May, whilst Stevenage are considered rank outsiders at a massive 150/1 (151.0) to see off Spurs and go all the way in the competition.
Should Spurs progress in the replay, they face a home tie against Bolton Wanderers who despite putting in a professional performance to knock out Championship strugglers Millwall, are still largely unfancied by William Hill, who rate Owen Coyle’s side as 28/1 (29.0) to emerge as outright winners.
Liverpool’s reward for smashing six past Brighton and Hove Albion is a home draw against last year’s runners up, Stoke City. Liverpool are joint favourites to lift the Carling Cup after their impressive win and William Hill make them 5/2 (3.50) together with Spurs for FA Cup success.
Stoke, meanwhile, can be backed at 16/1 (17.0) with the same firm to go one better this year, having lost out to Manchester City in last year’s final.
Meanwhile, Chelsea face a tricky trip to St Andrews to face last season’s Carling Cup winners Birmingham City for a replay following Saturday’s 1-1 draw between the sides at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are now as big as 7/2 (4.50) to win the competition while Birmingham City are priced up at 50/1 (51.0) with William Hill.
Lying in wait for the victors are Leicester City who, arguably, produced the shock of the round by claiming the scalp of Norwich City and Leicester are rated as 40/1 (41.0) shots to go all the way.
The all Premier League clash between Everton and Sunderland completes the draw with the Toffees 7/1 (8.0) to win at Wembley and the Black Cats at 8/1 (9.0) following a fine win over Arsenal in the previous round.
Punters will be eager to back the joint favourites in the outright market but as the battle for European places intensifies, in-form Sunderland might represent the value selection.
