League leaders Juventus will be confident of preserving their unbeaten run this weekend when they travel to face Serie A strugglers Bologna at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Sunday evening.

Juventus are 3/5 (1.60) favourites with Sportingbet to emerge victorious from this match while Bologna are a chunky 4/1 (5.00) for the home win. The draw is rated as a 13/5 (3.60) chance at Sportingbet.

The Old Lady will go into this match with confidence at an all-time high, having embarked on a quite astonishing 24 match unbeaten run, which stretches all the way back to the beginning of the season and, in fact, Juventus have yet to taste defeat in domestic action so far this season.

They showed that they are in no mood to relinquish their fine record on Wednesday night by claiming an impressive 2-1 away win over AC Milan at the San Siro.

Bologna themselves are on an unbeaten run heading into this fixture but their run has lasted just five matches thus far, and their record makes even less impressive reading when the fact that their last four matches have all ended in draws is taken into account.

One possible crumb of comfort for the hosts heading into this clash is that in the corresponding fixture back in September, they held Juventus to a 1-1 draw at Juventus Stadium while the Old Lady also required extra time to knock Bologna out of the Coppa Italia when these two sides last met in December.

Juventus, though, are riding the crest of a wave at the moment and Sportingbet’s offer of 5/6 (1.83) for the Turin giants to score before half time in Sunday evening’s clash is too good to pass up here.

Bologna, however, are stuffy opponents so don’t expect Juventus to thump their opponents, despite the obvious gulf in class and Sportingbet’s 6/1 (7.00) on the visitors to win 2-0 represents good value.
