thumbnail Hello,

After a turbulent week for the north London side they host the in-form team at White Hart Lane and Phil Kitromilides is backing both teams to get on the score sheet

On the steps of Southwark Crown Court, moments after his acquittal on charges of tax evasion, Harry Redknapp thanked fans of Tottenham Hotspur for their "special" support.

A hero's welcome is guaranteed for Redknapp at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening, as Spurs look to reward their manager with three points and possibly convince him that it is worth staying in N17, at least until the end of the current campaign, despite the expected call from the FA to replace Fabio Capello.

Spurs have been superb at home all season, their solitary league defeat at White Hart Lane coming against Manchester City back in August. They are priced at 4/9 (1.44) with Bet365 to earn their tenth home win of the campaign.

The price seems worthy of some potential consideration but there may be better value elsewhere considering Newcastle have also given a very good account of themselves this season. The draw trades at 10/3 (4.33) while an away win is best priced at 13/2 (7.5).

While Spurs look likely to win, the real value comes in the goals market and backing both teams to score appears to be an excellent bet.

Though much of Tottenham's success has been based around their defensive solidity, they have conceded in three of their last four league matches. The 0-0 draw away at Liverpool was something as a surprise but goals looks on the cards again for Redknapp's men in this game.

Newcastle meantime have scored in their last eight league games, and with the potentially explosive partnership of Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse already bearing fruit, they should have no problems in testing Spurs at the back.

Though the scene is set for an emotional return for Redknapp, Newcastle possess the quality and confidence to ensure a few bumps along the way and both teams to score at 4/5 (1.80) looks a very good bet for what should be a very entertaining game.
