Friday's Bet of the Day: Wolfsburg to continue their strong home form against Freiburg
After a solid week of European tips, Phil Kitromilides turns his attention to the Bundesliga and he is backing Wolfsburg to beat Freiburg at home

The fact Wolfsburg lie in tenth position in the Bundesliga table and face the prospect of mid-table mediocrity is almost entirely down to their away form.
On the road the 2009 Bundesliga champions have been woeful, managing just a single win and losing eight times. However, at the Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg are a different prospect entirely and have won six matches, losing just twice.
So bottom club Freiburg may well feel like avoiding defeat would be a big achievement, especially seeing as they have lost their last two away games conceding seven goals in the process.
It is worth remembering that Freiburg did win their meeting earlier this season 3-0, but that result should have little bearing on this evening's contest, and given the respective records of the two sides, not to mention the fact that Freiburg have lost their influential goalscorer Papiss Demba Cisse to Newcastle, this should be a straight forward home win.
We could look at all sorts of markets to try and find some real value to back Wolfsburg, with 188Bet offering 2.60 (8/5) on the home side to win half time/full time, or 2.30 (13/10) on them winning the first-half.
But essentially the 1.73 available on the home win in 90 minutes is big enough to take on its own. Freiburg's away form has been appalling while Wolfsburg have been excellent at home. The price looks a little generous on the home victory, and all in all offers the best chance to make some profit.
