Tuesday's Bet of the Day: Birmingham to continue their good run against Portsmouth
Birmingham are the form side in the Championship and have the opportunity to close the gap on the top two against Portsmouth, and top tipster Adam Bate is backing the Blues.

Birmingham take on Portsmouth at St Andrew’s on Tuesday evening with the hosts aiming to extend the only unbeaten home record in the Championship.
Chris Hughton’s side have really got into their stride of late and are unbeaten in all competitions since just before Christmas.
Victory here would lift them to the heady heights of third in the league and Blues can be backed to do so at 10/17 (1.6) with All You Bet - a price that looks solid enough.
Given Birmingham’s confidence at the moment – and the incentive of climbing further up the table - that is the Bet of the Day in this one. Portsmouth are having a decent season but have not been at their best on their travels.
In fact, only Coventry have won fewer games away from home and only the bottom three have lost more. It is a big ask to expect Michael Appleton’s side to find the answers at St Andrew’s, but they are available at 19/4 (5.96) with All You Bet to upset the odds while the draw trades at 27/10 (3.70).
In terms of value bets, there is a scoreline that stands out as being generously priced given Birmingham’s recent form. While many of Portsmouth’s defeats have been by the odd goal, this must rank as the toughest assignment in the Championship right now with the home side in such fantastic form.
As such, the chance of Pompey going the same way as Blackpool and Watford in recent weeks and leaving town with just 3-0 defeat to show for their troubles cannot be ruled out. A 3-0 win for Birmingham is available at 19/2 (10.5) with All You Bet and that looks a good outside bet.
