When Thierry Henry made the mother of all comebacks and scored the only goal of the game against Leeds United in the FA Cup third round, many Arsenal fans must have thought they’d died and gone to heaven.

Unfortunately, they have since coming crashing down to earth with a bang. Not only is Henry suffering from a calf strain but Arsenal have gone on to lose their next two Premier League games and slip five points behind Chelsea in the battle for fourth. They’ll need a win in this FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Aston Villa on Sunday to get back on track.

Arsene Wenger came in for some criticism last week – particularly for substituting young Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for Andrei Arshavin – and the Gunners boss will know the only way to appease the fans is with some silverware.

After a six-year wait for a trophy, Wenger must surely see the FA Cup as his best chance to amend that statistic this season – and you can back Arsenal to beat Aston Villa and take a step nearer to Wembley at 4/7 (1.57) with Bet365.

Their Midlands opponents have also been boosted by their very own Major League Soccer star. The arrival of Robbie Keane provided instant dividends last week when he turned the game against Wolves on its head with two second-half goals.

Villa have been very hit-and-miss under Alex McLeish but have fared better away from their demanding home fans. Only Manchester United have suffered fewer losses on their travels in the Premier League and Villa are currently on a run of six without defeat away from home. A away win here – replicating their recent triumph at Chelsea – is available at 9/2 (5.5) with Bet365.

With Villa having scored in eight of their last 11 away from home and bolstered by the Bent-Keane partnership up front, they can be expected to score at the Emirates. The Bet of the Day is both teams to score at 5/6 (1.83). As for a Value Bet, the draw looks a little generously priced at 3/1 (4.0) and cannot be ruled out in what could be a closer affair than the pundits expect.
