Monday Bet of the Day: Brazil expected to see off Egypt in friendly international
The Selecao are a short price to win, but that doesn't mean there isn't value to be found in today's contest in Doha

Brazil's global tour continues with a friendly in Doha against an Egypt side under new coach Bob Bradley. The game is being played to raise money for famine-struck Somalia and is expected to draw a big crowd.
Match OddsPerhaps only Spain would be considered favourites to beat the Selecao these days, and Mano Menezes' team are a short 1.36 to make it five wins in a row. In their last six games, the South Americans have only shipped one goal and are 1.75 to keep a clean sheet, and a more enticing 2.20 to win to nil. The outright price doesn't appeal, but backing Brazil on the handicap has more promise at 2.10 on the minus one margin.
Egypt have begun life well under American coach Bradley and turned over Niger 3-0. He has called up his top men for this contest, but the Africans are still 6.50 to win. When the teams met in 2009 it finished 4-3 to Brazil and Egypt scored in both halves. They are 7.50 to repeat that feat this evening.
Goals odds Menezes has yet to convince the highly critical Brazilian media of his ability to guide his team to World Cup success on home soil in 2014. There hasn't been much samba about his nation's recent goal tallies, with their last six games all going under the 2.5 mark. Brazil have scored exactly two goals in four of their last seven internationals, and more of the same is 3.20 to occur this evening.
Egypt's win over Niger was their first for three games. They've only failed to score twice in 11 games, which included a 3-0 win over Australia, and you can back them to score just once at 2.45.
Both teams to score is trading at 1.95, with over 2.5 goals a shorter 1.70. These sides shared seven goals in their last encounter and a more ambitious over 5.5 is a tasty 11.0
GoalscorersAs flagged up by Ed Malyon, Hernanes was a superb bet to score against Gabon and duly did so. He is 2.20 to score again this evening. With no Neymar or Ronaldinho on display, the pressure will be on Hulk to live up to his hype. The Porto forward is 1.73 to score anytime and a more appealing 4.0 to score first.
Amr Zaki is absent for Egypt, so Mohamed Zidan will use this game to stake his claim for more playing time at Borussia Dortmund. BVB travel to Bayern Munich on Saturday and Zidan is a stunning 5.0 to score during 90 minutes and give Jurgen Klopp something to think about. He netted a brace in the epic 4-3 game in 2009.
Match Odds: Brazil 1.36, Draw 4.20, Egypt 6.50 (William Hill)
