thumbnail Hello,

We take a look forward to tonight's clash at Eastlands...

Snow may have decimated the Premier League schedule but at least one game is taking place in England. Manchester City can go top of the table for the first time in donkeys' years if they defeat bogey side Everton at Eastlands.

Plenty of attention will be on Carlos Tevez who is set to make his first appearance since handing in a transfer request. The wantaway striker is a short 1.22 to remain at City for the duration of his contract compared to 2.90 to see the whole deal out.

Real Madrid are the European favourites to sign Tevez at 4.0. A South American club to sign the striker is priced at 2.75 with Boca Juniors attracting bets at 2.88.

Tevez's heart may be in Buenos Aires but for now he remains in cold Manchester. You can be guaranteed he will continue to give his best for the Citizens for whom he has scored 31 goals in his 38 Premier League games.

Without him Roberto Mancini's team wouldn't have a prayer of the league title. With him they still have a chance with William Hill pricing them at a very tasty 7.0 to go all the way.

His goals have got City fans dreaming and you can back him at 6.0 to be the only goalscorer for the home team tonight. Tevez is also worthwhile at 2.0 to score first and 5.0 to be on the mark during the 90 minutes.

* Carlos Tevez to score Man City's only goal of the game @ 6.0

Visitors Everton are very much the bogey side for the title aspirants. The Toffees have won five of the last six Premier League games against City including three of their last four visits to Eastlands.

Tim Cahill is always a goal threat particularly in the air and will be expected to cause trouble. You can back the Aussie at 9.0 to score first and 3.75 for a goal at anytime.

Historically this fixture hasn't produced a fountain of goals. Eight of the last ten have gone under 2.5 goals. Given the pressure on City to potentially go top this is likely to be a cagey affair.

* Under 2.5 goals @ 1.73

* Under 1.5 goals @ 3.40

"I think Everton will be a tough nut to crack for a City team having a few problems behind the scenes and I expect the visitors to get at least a point. Therefore Everton to win or Draw at 11/10 (2.10) and Everton to win (draw no bet) at 5/2 (3.50) look the best bets.

"I expect defences to dominate this one so under 1.5 goals at 12/5 (3.40) and a small bet on 0-0 at 9/1 (10.0) are worthwhile."
