Rangers manager Ally McCoist says Nikica Jelavic won’t be sold until potential suitors meet their valuation for the star striker.

The Croatian is the leading scoring in the SPL this term with 14 goals and his impressive performances are said to have sparked interest at a number of Premier League clubs.

Championship high-flyers West Ham have reportedly made a £6million bid for the hotshot, but McCoist has played the link down down.

"They [West Ham] have not made an official bid," he told the press.

"The reported amount would not be enough to meet the demands of the owner.

"£6million is not nearly enough."
