German goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand confirms interest from Celtic
Free agent has attracted interest from SPL giants...
By Andrew McLean
"Yes, it's true. There is interest from Celtic. This is very interesting for me," Hildebrand told Scottish newspaper Page.
Hildebrand has presumed that his opportunities in Germany are numbered as most clubs have resolved their issues in his position and he has opened himself up to going abroad once again.
Celtic were demolished this week in Portugal in their Champions League qualifer first leg against Braga, losing 3-0. After selling Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc to Fiorentina they will look for reinforcements, especially after fellow Polish keeper Lukasz Zaluska did not have the most convincing of games in Braga.
Hildebrand, 31, has a wealth of experience after stints with Stuttgart and Valencia.
