EPL: George Boateng - Yossi Benayoun, Hull v Liverpool (PA)
Out of contract midfielder George Boateng is enjoying his trial with Celtic but insists no decision on his permanent future has been made.

The 35-year-old midfielder left Hull City this summer after their relegation to the Championship and has travelled to Glasgow along with Ibrahima Camara and Slaven Stjepanovic to try and win a contract with the Scottish Premier League club.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Boateng declared he had been impressed with life north of the border and that he has been made to feel welcome at Celtic Park: "At the moment I'm training with Celtic and trying to get fit. It's a wonderful club, a big, big club with wonderful fans.

"Since I've been here I've enjoyed it. Working with the manager and his assistant has been great and the guys have made me feel very, very welcome.

"I came here to come and see what its like up here and I'm enjoying it. Whether there is a permanent deal to be made I think that will be decided after I've finished here.

"First, it was for the manager to see me and I had to get to know the place, the area, the competition and then take it from there."
