Neymar backs Martino rotation policy

The Brazil international has had to bide his time since arriving at Camp Nou but believes that the Barcelona coach is doing the right thing by utilising his entire squad
Neymar has backed Barcelona's rotation policy under Gerardo Martino and is confident that the approach will mean that key players remain fit for the entire campaign.

The €54 million (£45.5m) summer signing played from the start in the Blaugrana's 1-0 win over Celtic on Tuesday, with Lionel Messi absent through injury, but has had to watch on from the substitutes' bench on more than one occasion this term.

Cesc Fabregas recently admitted that he was finding it difficult to accustom to not playing every week but Neymar has offered his support to Martino's desire to utilise the entire squad at his disposal.

The Brazilian told TV3: "The most important thing is the union within the squad, this makes us stronger and helps us to win games.

"It's a good system; everyone has the right to a rest so we don't pick up injuries. The most important thing is the team is in peak condition and because we have so many good players we can do this."

The 21-year-old has made eight appearances in all competitions since arriving from Santos, scoring two goals.
