Landon Donovan beats Adriano to win goal of the week
American superstar's MLS Cup winner for La Galaxy was a popular choice with our readers and viewers of the Goal Show
Landon Donovan has capped a fine seven days by winning goal of the week for his neat strike to seal MLS Cup glory for LA Galaxy against Houston Dynamo. The American claimed 39.91 per cent of the vote in our global poll which was held on multiple Goal.com editions after featuring on the weekly Goal Show.
Trailing Donovan in second place was Adriano with 27% of the votes. The Brazilian showed he hasn't lost his goalscoring touch with his strike for Corinthians which proved a hit with our readers. Rafal Wolski's stunner for Legia Warsaw was third with 21.94%, followed by Nabil Dirar's rocket for Club Brugge (6.92%) and Felipe's effort for Vasco da Gama with 4.53%.
