Uruguay warmed up for the upcoming Copa America with a comfortable 5-0 victory in a charity match against Plaza Colonia that attracted over 15,000 spectators.
The game was held to raise funds for the Celeste Foundation in the Uruguayan city of Colonia, which aims to establish a new children's hospital and footballing facilities.
Diego Forlan opened the scoring after just two minutes and there were two further goals before the break thanks to Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.
Sebastian Abreu and Abel Hernandez completed the scoring after the break although Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin was rested due to a muscle strain.
Uruguay, who reached the World Cup semi-finals last summer, have been drawn in Group C with Chile, Peru and Mexico for the tournament, which begins on July 1.
Uruguay also defeated their conquerors in South Africa, the Netherlands, on penalties in a recent friendly after the encounter finished 1-1 in normal time.
