The Issa Hayatou-led body has exhorted “all Caf member associations to vote M. Joseph Sepp Blatter" in a statement posted on its official website.
The Fifa election will take place in Zurich on June 1, when the 208 member associations will vote for a new president.
Blatter is facing opposition from Mohamed Bin Hammam, the head of the Asian confederation. The 75-year-old now has the support of European, South American and Oceania confederations.
