Michael Laudrup's side finally put to bed Bradford's fantastic run in the Capital One Cup with a relatively one-sided win, with praise flooding in for both teams
Swansea created history on Sunday, as they secured their first ever major trophy by thrashing Bradford in the Capital Cne Cup final.

The Premier League, never one to be beaten for drama, had its own fair share of salivating action too, though, with Manchester City coming out on top against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium in a closely-fought contest.

Meanwhile, in what represented another big night of continental action, the Milan derby and Le Classique between PSG and Marseille caught the eye after it featured the Beauty and the Beast of British football, David Beckham and Joey Barton.
