Jamie Carragher targets trip to Wembley after Liverpool’s defeat of Chelsea in the League Cup
A 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge sent the Reds into the semi-final with the experienced centre-half hoping to make the trip to the national stadium for the first time with his club

The Reds are two matches away from the final of the League Cup after defeating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the quarter-final stage.
The cup competition has been high on Kenny Dalglish’s agenda with no European football in the fixture list.
And after the win against the Blues on Tuesday evening, Carragher is hopeful of a trip to the national stadium as Liverpool target domestic success.
"I've played at Wembley once or twice for England but I've never done it for Liverpool,” he told the club’s official website.
"I'd love to do that but when we have got to cup finals they have been in Cardiff so I've never been there with Liverpool.
"There is a still a semi-final to play over two legs and there are some massive sides in there so it is going to be very tough. We'll take the semi-final very seriously."
Goals from Maxi Rodriguez and Martin Kelly were enough to give Liverpool their second win at Stamford Bridge in less than a fortnight after their 2-1 win two Sundays ago.
On that occasion Glen Johnson scored the second goal for the Anfield club, but it was his deputy at right-back who caught Carragher’s eye as a first-team regular for the future.
"Kelly is a young lad coming through, he's still learning the game. He can learn off Glen Johnson, England's right-back," he said.
"But hopefully in the future Martin Kelly will be in that position himself and he showed that tonight."
