Tony Pulis hoping fans can help Stoke City overcome Liverpool in League Cup
The manager is looking to the crowd to aid his side as they look to recreate the 1-0 victory over the Merseyside club which occurred when the two sides met in the Premier League

Tony Pulis has called upon the Stoke City fans to help his side recreate the 1-0 victory they recorded over Liverpool earlier in the season, as the two sides meet this time in the League Cup.
Stoke have revealed that the home section is yet to be filled whereas Liverpool have sold out of their allocated tickets, so Pulis knows the fans at the Britannia will be vital if his side are to progress into the next round of the competition.
Pulis told the club’s official website: "Our home record is a proud one and due in no small measure to the tremendous backing we've had from our supporters,
"We will have our work cut out, but I am sure that our fans will raise their game like the players will have to raise theirs if we are to get the right result.
"There will be a tremendous atmosphere for another cup game here, but I hope a few more will decide come along to lend their support because we'll need it. The very mention of Liverpool being in town should encourage them to come along.
"When you think of the amount of games we've already played at home this season and the attendances we have been getting, the support has been absolutely incredible. Our fans have had to really dig deep with all those matches."
