Soldado wants Tottenham to put Dnipro 'to the sword'

The Spurs forward sees the second leg of their Europa League knockout tie as a "final", with Tim Sherwood's men needing to battle back from a 1-0 disadvantage after defeat away
Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado aims to put Dnipro "to the sword" as his side chase progress in the Europa League.

7/1 Roberto Soldado is 7/1 with Bet365 to score two or more goals against Dnipro
Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat in Ukraine in the first leg of their knockout tie, with the Spaniard guilty of missing a golden chance for an away goal, but he is confident of doing what needs to be done in a game which he likens to a cup final.

"[Dnipro] were definitely the better team when we played them last week but it's a final for us now," Soldado told the club's official website.

"We have to win and I think, at White Hart Lane, we can definitely put them to the sword.

"We're an attacking side but we're not going to go out there from the first minute and score freely.

"We've got to wait, get the first goal and then build on that but we'll definitely get at them."

Soldado, a big-money summer signing from Valencia, has not scored for the Londoners since December.
