The 27-year-old right-back could not help but think of his dad, who passed away last year, after helping the Rojiblancos claim their second title in three seasons
The Rojiblancos romped to a 3-0 victory over Liga rivals Athletic Bilbao courtesy of a first-half double from star striker Radamel Falcao and a late goal from attacking midfielder Diego.
Juanfran, who joined Atletico from Espanyol during last year's January transfer window, was almost overcome with emotion when he spoke to the press immediately after the full-time whistle.
"My baby son Oliver is here with me; the only words he knows are 'mama' and 'Atleti'," the versatile right-back is quoted as saying by Uefa.com.
"I dedicate this win to my family and to my dad, who passed away last year. I know he's up there looking down on us celebrating now."

Meanwhile, Juanfran's captain Antonio Lopez, an unused substitute in the tournament decider, felt that Diego Simeone's men had been excellent value for their victory.
"The fans and players deserve this title," the defender enthused. "We put in a performance worthy of a final and we are so happy.
"We're now looking forward to joining our fans for the celebrations back in Madrid."
The Rojiblancos must then turn their attention to Sunday's Liga clash with Villarreal at El Madrigal, a game that they have to win in order to give themselves a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
