thumbnail Hello,

The Colombia international believes the level of familiarity between his team and opponents Athletic Bilbao means Wednesday's showpiece could be settled on the finest of margins

Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao says the Europa League final in Bucharest will be a tight game, decided by small details.

Los Colchoneros face fellow Spanish club Athletic Bilbao in the Romanian capital on Wednesday and are bidding to repeat their 2010 success in the same tournament when they beat English side Fulham.

"The final will be hotly contested, both clubs want to win, the coaches know each other and the teams are in the same league," Falcao told reporters ahead of the game.

"There will be advantages and disadvantages and the small details will be decisive."

Falcao, who lifted the Europa League trophy with Porto last season, could make history by being the first player to win the tournament in successive years with different clubs and being the top scorer in both campaigns.

But the 26-year-old insisted he would happily trade personal honours for winning the continent's second-tier club competition again.

"It doesn't matter who scores, the important thing is to win, but going in as the tournament's top scorer means I'm relaxed," he said.

"I know it will be historic to win the trophy for the second year in a row with a different club, but all I want is to concentrate on what the team and coach ask of me."

Wednesday's final at the National Arena in Bucharest kicks off at 19.45.
