Robert Huth hails Stoke City team spirit and support after Europa League exit
Potters crashed out of the competition at the hands of Valencia, losing 1-0 on the night and 2-0 on aggregate, but the defender was quick to look at the positives from Mestalla

Stoke City captain Robert Huth praised his team's resolve and commitment after an under-strength side were narrowly beaten by Valencia 1-0 on Thursday, and were subsequently knocked out of the Europa League.
Tony Pulis somewhat controversially rested a host of big names for the trip to Spain including Peter Crouch, Matthew Etherington and Ryan Shawcross, but Huth disagreed with the assessment that the team selection left them weakened.
"If you watch the game tonight I don’t think there was any doubt that Stoke don’t give up," Huth told reporters
"We made a few changes that would hopefully improve our team, but today we lost to a good team.”
Huth was keen to praise the travelling fans for their support throughout the club's European run, which has taken them across the continent and as far afield as Israel.
“I think they’ve been brilliant," he added.
"Looks more than 4,000 [fans in the stadium], everywhere you look you could see and hear them shouting,
"So well done to our supporters and hopefully we’ll be back sometime soon.”
