Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard will not play any part in the game against Sparta Prague, as he has been left out of the squad for the encounter, but youngster Raheem Sterling has been included.
The two sides clash at the Generali Arena on Thursday night, in the first leg of the double header in the Round of 32 of the Europa League.
Gerrard missed the club's 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic on Saturday after aggravating a groin injury during the victory over Chelsea.
Daniel Agger has also not been included in the squad, as it appears an adductor problem may have got the better of him. Like Gerrard, the defender also missed the game against the Latics.
Young winger Sterling has made the squad after his sensational performance in scoring five goals in a 9-0 humbling of Southend in the FA Youth Cup.
Should Sterling make his debut against Sparta Prague, the 16-year-old will become the youngest ever player to have played for Liverpool.
Andy Carroll has also made the trip to the Czech Republic but will not feature in the game.
Liverpool squad: Reina, Jones, Gulacsi, Johnson, Flanagan, Aurelio, Robinson, Kyrgiakos, Wilson, Carragher, Kelly, Skrtel, Meireles, Cole, Maxi, Jovanovic, Lucas, Coady, Ince, Sterling, Pacheco, Kuyt, Ngog.
