The Spaniard was absent from the Gunners' training session on Tuesday and isn't expected to travel with the first-team squad to Munich
Lucas Perez was absent from Arsenal’s training session ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League last-16 first-leg match against Bayern Munich.
The Spanish forward has had a troublesome ankle injury in recent weeks and missed the recent Premier League match with Chelsea because of the injury.
Perez has averaged a goal every 133 minutes this season and made a brief cameo appearance towards the end of Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Hull on Saturday.

But he has generally found game time hard to come by, having started a mere eight of the 17 games he has been involved in this campaign.
Meanwhile, Yaya Sanogo continued to step up his return from injury and was spotted training separately from the rest of the first-team squad on Tuesday.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently revealed that Sanogo, who has not played a competitive game since April when he was on loan at Charlton, is carrying a “confidential” injury and was unable to put a timeframe on when the French forward will be back in the squad.
Wenger will reveal his team news in the pre-match press conference at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night, with the likes of Granit Xhaka and Nacho Monreal both expected to return to the first-team fold.
The Frenchman's side face a mammoth task at the Allianz Arena having failed to progress past the last-16 stage for the past six seasons.
