The Chile international insists nothing has changed in his the Camp Nou outfit's hunt for silverware despite slipping further behind Real Madrid in the Liga title raceAlexis Sanchez remains optimistic about Barcelona's chances of winning the treble this season regardless of the 1-0 defeat to Valladolid last weekend.
The reigning Spanish champions have dropped to third place in the league table following their unexpected loss, yet Alexis has stressed they are still determined to defend their domestic crown and claim success in the Copa del Rey and Europe.
"We are in the fight for all the titles. I am hungry to win and so are all my team-mates - we want to win everything, the league, Champions League and the Copa del Rey," Alexis said at a press conference.
"I don't know anyone in the squad who doesn't want that.
"We are all part of Barca and we have the same aim. The league isn’t lost, just as when we were on the top people were wrong to say we had it won."
The Chile international believes Manchester City's visit to Camp Nou serves as the perfect chance for Barca to bounce back as they look to defend their 2-0 lead from the first leg.
"We have to put the loss against Valladolid behind us now and not feel sorry for ourselves. We have to be positive because we have an important game ahead.
"Manchester City might have lost the first leg, but every team is always really fired up for a game against Barca."
