Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller believes that his side's upcoming Champions League opponents Paris Saint-Germain are serious contenders to win the competition.
The Ligue 1 champions reached the quarter-finals of Europe's top club tournament last term, but were beaten on away goals by Barcelona.
They topped their group this time out and Voller believes they can challenge Bayern Munich for the title which they won last year.
"PSG have already made an impression last season, when they hadn't played against the likes of Barca in the Champions League," he told beIN Sport.
"The Parisians are among the favourites this season They're one of the best five teams in Europe.
"I can tell you right now that Bayern Munich are the best team in the world but PSG have a chance of dethroning them this year and, above all, in the long term."
