The Bianconeri, who are bidding for their third successive Scudetto, are currently just three points behind Italian league leaders Napoli, while Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid, coupled with Galatasaray's defeat in Copenhagen, has put their European destiny back in their own hands.
After a positive start to the campaign, Tevez is in bullish mood, telling reporters: "The first goal this season is called the Scudetto. We want to win it, all the more so because it would be historic - the third in a row for Juventus; a record.
"It would be a very important achievement; an honour for the history of the club. Then, there's the Champions League..."
Tevez has made a flying start to his Serie A career following his summer switch from Manchester City and the well-travelled forward says that he feels right at home in Turin.
"I've very happy to have moved to Juventus," he enthused. "It's a top club, like all my previous teams. Boca, Corinthians, the two Manchester sides - I don't see any differences.
"I'm happy, as Turin is a beautiful city and the fans shower me in affection. I'm feeling good and it's always pleasing to hear the people singing my name."
