The Spaniard hopes that the two goals he scored against Schalke will signal the start of a good run of goalscoring form, as the Blues sit top of Group E after three games
Mourinho’s men ran out 3-0 winners over the German outfit, with a strike from Eden Hazard wrapping up the victory after Torres' double.
The Spaniard has scored four goals in six cup games for the London club, but has found the net only once in the Premier League.

"I'm feeling good. With working hard, everything comes. It sometimes takes lots of time, but at the end it will come," Torres told the Mirror.
"I was happy with the game against Schalke. Hopefully it's the start of many games in a row scoring goals.
"There are lots of important games coming now - Man City (on Sunday), Arsenal (next Tuesday) - and games that are important to get to the top of the Premier League, to go through in the Capital One Cup.
"I am ready to play if I have to play, ready to help from outside if I have to be on the bench."
The Blues' hopes of progressing to the next stage of the Champions League were dealt a blow after losing 2-1 to Basel in their opening game in Group E, but they now sit top of the group at the halfway stage.
"These kind of things [the Basel defeat] are good when it happens at the beginning of the season, when the games are not crucial and we have time to fix it, like we have done now," Torres added.
"When these kind of things happen at the end of the season, you lose competitions, you lose titles and it's not good. Hopefully we've learnt the lesson and it won't happen again."
The Spaniard was part of the side that won the Europa League under interim manager Rafa Benitez last season, but he has his sights set firmly on a successful Champions League campaign this term.
"The Champions League is what Chelsea has to play; Europa League is not a competition we want to win," he continued.
"We're in the Champions League now. We don't want to be involved in the Europa League again because we want to win the Champions League."
