Manchester United-Real Sociedad Betting Preview: Goals at both ends look likely

Phil Kitromilides believes both teams will get on the scoresheet tonight at Old Trafford
Since they qualified for the group stages of the Champions League back in August, the trip to Old Trafford has been the main thing on the mind of every Real Sociedad fan.

Initially, the thousands making the trip would have been going in hope rather than expectation, however, given United's current form, the Basques might just think their is a chance of an upset and Bet365 offer them at 6/1 (7.00).

Yet Sociedad themselves are not on their best run, despite enjoying a good win at the weekend over Valencia, and United, who are offered at 8/15 (1.53), should be too strong for the visitors.

Nevertheless, there remains something of a fragility about this United side, and Sociedad's slick passing could cause them one or two problems.

The Liga side are generally good value for goals and, having regularly scored at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou, finding the back of the net at Old Traforrd should be within their means.

Both teams to score is offered at 4/5 (1.80) and that looks like a tempting option. The visitors have scored in four of their last five matches, while the Red Devils have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven games.

Furthermore, this bet has paid out in both of United's Champions League games so far, making it a solid option.
