The France international failed to appear from the bench and is believed to have stormed out of the team's post-match meeting in the dressing room following the result, which was secured within half-an-hour courtesy of a double from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a further Marquinhos effort.
Speaking to Canal +, Blanc confirmed the 26-year-old was irked by his decision to leave him in the dugout for the duration of the game but has stood firmly by his choice to keep the winger on the sidelines.
"He [Menez] was certainly disappointed because he thought he would come on. But I made a choice and that's it," explained the PSG manager.
The 47-year-old went on to laud his team for producing the "perfect" result and believes that the victory stems from his players' hunger to perform on the European stage.
"The perfect match? The score is perfect and the three points are too," he added. "But in the analysis of the game we can always do better.
"We had control of the game from the first minute to the last. This is what we want and my players are very satisfied. The Champions League makes great players salivate."
PSG have made a strong start to Group C, topping the table having picked up two wins from their opening two games.
