Sulley Muntari was on hand to kill off the contest four minutes later but Emanuelson believes that lady luck was shining on the Rossoneri to send them on their way to victory.
"You can call this a typical Milan victory," he told reporters. "We got lucky with the 1-0, but it was a tough game for us.
"We started really well but, after that, we collapsed. [But] the most important is that we won our first group match."
