Malaga can beat AC Milan, says Camacho

The midfielder is certain his side can progress to the last-16 of the Champions League and has called for a committed performance from his colleagues
Malaga youngster Ignacio Camacho believes his side have every chance of beating AC Milan on Tuesday.

The 22-year old has explained the difference between European games and La Liga fixtures, and warned the Costa del Sol club must be focused in order to get anything out of the fixture at San Siro.

"It is a very important game for us, but we can win it and also reach the next stage,” he told La Opinion de Malaga.

“It will be a great game and we must go out to enjoy it because the Champions League is different to anything else, so we have got to continue what we have been doing and show the confidence to get the three points."

Camacho has revealed that it has been a personal aim to play at San Siro since his childhood, but he is aware of the difficulty that comes with it.

“There is no doubt it has been a dream of mine to play there. It is one of those places where a footballer always wants to play and do well.

“The San Siro has lots of history and is up there with the Santiago Bernabeu and Camp Nou, but hopefully we can win. We have already proved at La Rosaleda, that we can beat them and we will be giving it everything, there is no doubt about that.”

The Andalusians are top of Group C, five points ahead of the Rossoneri who sit in second place.
