Sergio Busquets included in Barcelona squad for Bayer Leverkusen clash
The holding midfielder has missed the Catalan giants' last two matches due to a knee injury, but could make his comeback against the Bundesliga outfit on Tuesday evening
By Stefan Coerts
The Spain international has missed Barcelona's last two matches due to a knee injury, but the Catalans have now confirmed on their official website that Busquets has resumed squad training again.
It's not 100 per cent certain that the midfielder will feature against Leverkusen as Barcelona's medical team have yet to give the green light, but his return to regular practice makes a comeback on Tuesday a realistic option.
Guardiola has named a total number of 22 players in his squad for the match at the BayArena, with Barcelona B stars Jonathan dos Santos, Rodrigo Tello, Sergio Roberto, Marc Bartra and Oier Olazabal all making the the list.
Starting in November and continuing through to the middle of February, Goal.com is publishing exclusive extracts from Graham Hunter's highly-anticipated new book, 'Barca: The Making of the Greatest Team in the World'. The last extract looked at how Barca suffered rare disappointment at the hands of Real Madrid in a gripping finale to last season's Copa del Rey. Don't miss it!
