The Blues could be handed a tie with European big guns AC Milan, French giants Lyon, or FC Basel, whose 2-1 victory over Sir Alex Ferguson's side on matchday six saw the Red Devils eliminated from the competition.
Arsene Wenger's men could also face the Rossoneri, with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen and conquerors of Manchester City, Napoli, also potential opponents for the Gunners.
