thumbnail Hello,

The Italian club's CEO has watered down the significance of the recent tension between his forward and Pep Guardiola as he looks forward to a European showdown at San Siro

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has defended Zlatan Ibrahimovic's recent comments published in his autobiography towards Barcelona and Pep Guardiola.

The Sweden international was highly critical of former coach Guardiola in his book, in which he referred to his turbulent spell at Barcelona.

Ibrahimovic has since said he will greet Guardiola in Wednesday night's Champions League Group H match between the two sides - comments which were well-received by the Spanish coach, who confirmed he would return the gesture.

"Ibra has told the truth in his book and I hope he will say hello to Guardiola," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"If one writes a book then it's only right to tell the truth otherwise there is no point. Some may or may not like the truth."

"Starting last Friday and continuing every Friday through to January, Goal.com will publish extracts from Graham Hunter's highly-anticipated book, Barca: The Making of the Greatest Team in the World, which kicked off with a fascinating segment on Lionel Messi's rise to the top at Camp Nou. Don't miss it!"
