Chelsea winger Florent Malouda targets Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen as a chance to return to winning ways
The Frenchman would not elaborate on what was wrong at the club but said victory in the European tie would get the club back on track after some disappointing losses
By Joel Lamy
The Blues play in Germany looking to end a run which has seen them win just two of their last six matches in all competitions and slip down to fifth in the Premier League.
A win against Leverkusen would see Chelsea qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League and, according to Malouda, would help get them back on track after their recent blip.
"We have a great opportunity by winning this game to finish first in our group," he told reporters.
"I think, actually, that's what we need more than comments or explanations or analysis on what's been going wrong.
"We all have inside a feeling about what's been going wrong, and we need to correct it. This is a perfect opportunity to do that.
"Winning will get us back on track and back in a dynamic positive circle."
